Job Overview:

This role involves leading the effort to design, build, and configure applications as the primary point of contact throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Project Leadership:
  • Engage in process and business requirements sessions with clients to thoroughly understand and document envisioned business processes, leveraging best practices in supply chain management.
  • Core Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate closely with clients to identify, collect, and analyze necessary data from various sources such as databases and Excel sheets, covering historical sales, inventory, logistics, and other relevant supply chain data.
  • Ensure a deep understanding of the o9 platform's data models, table structures, and linkages to optimize design for various planning use cases within IBP.
  • Technical Configuration and Implementation:
  • Utilize expertise in supply chain technology across platforms like SAP APO/IBP, Blue Yonder, Kinaxis, OMP, E2Open, or Anaplan to configure and implement solutions tailored to client needs.
  • Bring extensive knowledge from at least one specific area of supply chain planning, such as Demand Planning, Supply Planning, IBP, SOP, Detail Scheduling, or Procurement, to enhance the project's scope and depth.
  • Manage the entire lifecycle of supply chain planning solution implementations, from business requirement gathering and solution design to development, UAT/SIT, and go-live.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience:
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience with a strong emphasis on implementing planning applications, particularly in Integrated Business Planning (IBP).
  • Demonstrated ability to lead digital planning transformation programs and/or full lifecycle implementations from design to value realization.
  • Skills & Competencies:
  • Proficient in using agile methodologies to manage large-scale enterprise implementations.
  • Capable of communicating complex mathematical, technical, or software-related concepts to audiences with limited backgrounds in these areas.
  • Strong verbal, written, presentation, and demonstration/training skills are essential.
  • High empathy for customer's business challenges coupled with the ability to lead discussions and solutions effectively under pressure.
  • Education:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or related fields.
  • Certifications in supply chain planning, TOGAF, or other relevant areas are preferred but not mandatory.
  • Professional Attributes:
  • Excellent teamwork capabilities, with experience working in distributed teams across different locations and time zones.
  • Openness to short or long-term travel based on project and client requirements.

Compensation and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this role is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on location and experience. Algoleap offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
