Decorative Production Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the efficient operation of equipment in the assigned area.
• Perform regular AM and PM checks for all equipment in the assigned area.
• Provide technical support and guidance to operators in case of breakdown issues.
• Encourage operators to suggest Kaizens, safety suggestions, and maintain 5S in the assigned area.
• Support team leaders and shift managers to deliver assigned KPIs.

Essential Areas of Responsibility:

1. Follow and maintain organization's SOPs and safe working practices.
2. Comply with legal, environmental, and safety requirements and regulations.
3. Lead the assigned area in operating with high efficiency, integrity, and enthusiasm, striving for excellence in all endeavors.
4. Participate in companies' Continuous Improvement initiatives, such as Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, SMED, and 5S.
5. Monitor KPIs and look for improvement opportunities.
6. Maintain housekeeping to the standard defined in the Housekeeping and Hygiene procedure.
7. Provide extensive training to employees to improve skill levels.
8. Drive continuous improvements in the team to minimize costs.

Professional Education Qualification:

• Diploma in Printing, Mechanical Engineering, or ITI.
• Can manufacturing experience and expertise in specific assigned area equipment.
• 4 years relevant experience in production and maintenance activity.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Ability to work shifts and extended hours when required.
• Computer literacy and ability to generate reports.
• Ability to read, understand, and develop engineering drawings.
• Analytical skills to interpret numerical data.
• Working knowledge of Health and Safety work practices.
• Basic mechanical knowledge and measuring equipment knowledge.
• Good computer skills and ability to manage via computerized data.
• Manufacturing background in a high-speed, high-volume continuous process.
