We are seeking a seasoned Risk Director to spearhead our risk management strategy across multiple domains. This strategic role demands a keen analytical mind, coupled with in-depth knowledge of the NBFC and banking sector landscape in India.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and implement a comprehensive risk management framework that aligns with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and market conditions.
  • Oversee risk identification, assessment, and mitigation strategies across credit, operational, and compliance risks through policies and frameworks.
  • Monitor emerging credit risks and recommend proactive measures.
  • Evaluate portfolio performance, stress test, and forecast expected credit loss to manage potential default risks.
  • Leverage data analytics, AI, and machine learning tools to enhance data insights for risk control and provide inputs to improve risk modeling, fraud detection, and early warning systems.
  • Present regular risk reports to senior management and the board, providing insights into portfolio performance, emerging risks, and key risk indicators.
Requirements:
  • Masters degree in finance, economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 12 years experience in risk management, ideally in the NBFC, banking, or financial services sector, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of credit and financial risk, operational risk in the context of an NBFC; familiarity with RBI regulations.
  • Sectoral understanding of financial institutions and strong ability to interpret financial trends.
  • Proficiency in risk management and data analytics tools, ideally including Python and SQL.
