About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Couture Fashion Designer to join our team at REFLECT SCULPT PRIVATE LIMITED. As a key member of our design department, you will be responsible for creating stunning pieces that merge traditional Indian craftsmanship with modern luxury.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research global and local trends to create mood boards that inspire the direction of our Indian couture line.
  • Ideate, brainstorm, and sketch out fresh designs that blend tradition and innovation.
  • Hunt down the perfect fabrics and embroidery materials that align with our brand's DNA.
  • Oversee the entire sample development process, working closely with the team to bring your designs to life.
  • Create artwork and detailed sketches both digitally and by hand, ready for production.
  • Collaborate with the Masters to produce precise toiles that set the foundation for the final garments.
  • Innovate with hand and machine embroidery techniques to add depth and detail to each piece.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Design from top institutions like NIFT, NID, FIT-NYC, or LCF/CSM-London.
  • 0-4 years of experience working with a couture house in the design department.
  • A keen understanding of Indian embroideries like Zardozi and Aari, and strong knowledge of Indian textiles.
  • An out-of-the-box thinker who can marry traditional embroidery techniques with contemporary couture designs.
  • Proficiency in Procreate, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and MS Office.
  • Excellent communication skills and a team-player mentality.
  • Passionate about Gaurav Gupta's vision and the world of luxury couture.
