Senior Data Engineering Lead

The Role:

As a Senior Data Engineering Lead, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of data engineers. Your expertise in Databricks and cloud-based data engineering will drive the design, development, and management of scalable data infrastructure and pipelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and mentor a team of experienced data engineers to ensure high-quality delivery of projects.
  • Architect and design large-scale data pipelines, data lakes, and cloud-based data warehouses using Databricks, Apache Spark, and Snowflake.
  • Develop and optimize ETL/ELT workflows to guarantee performance, reliability, and scalability of data infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into efficient data solutions.
  • Implement best practices for data quality, governance, security, and compliance.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 18 years of professional experience in data engineering with at least 12 years in leadership or senior technical roles.
  • Hands-on expertise in Databricks and Apache Spark for large-scale data processing.
  • Strong programming skills in Python, Scala, or Java.
