Job Description

The Data Migration Expert plays a crucial role in ensuring seamless data migration activities.

This expert collaborates closely with global and local teams to deliver accurate requirements capture and effective deployment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serves as the focal point for assigned data objects in scope for deployment or local data migration projects.
  • Collaborates with business owners, functional experts, ETL teams, legacy system teams, and deployment teams.
  • Drives migration activities for deployment projects.
  • Verifies data transformation tools and outputs for deployment wave projects.
  • Manages load file preparation and performs initial verification.
  • Executes scripts and supports defect/hypercare incident resolution for assigned data objects.
  • Coordinates defect resolution or escalates to GDMEs as needed.
  • Ensures compliance with relevant regulations and standards (e.g., GxP, CSV).

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of ERP project implementation experience with strong data migration expertise.
  • Proven experience in data migration execution across multi-country, multi-system environments.
  • Hands-on knowledge of SAP BODS.
  • Strong understanding of GxP and CSV requirements.
  • SAP Certified in at least one relevant functional area.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a global, matrix-based organization.
  • Strategic and hands-on mindset with experience running meetings, tracking progress, and managing issues.
  • Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Fluent in English (additional languages preferred).

Preferred Experience:

  • Exposure to healthcare or regulated industry environments.
  • Prior experience leading data migration in large ERP programs.
