Job Title:

Storage Infrastructure Specialist

As a Storage Infrastructure Specialist, you will be responsible for designing and implementing advanced storage solutions using NetApp ONTAP.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ONTAP Expertise: Develop strong understanding and hands-on experience with MetroCluster, FabricPool, and AQoS features.
  • Storage Protocols: Demonstrate proficiency in both SAN (iSCSI, Fibre Channel) and NAS (NFS, CIFS/SMB) concepts and environments.
  • Storage Grid & Object Storage: Gain experience with solutions like StorageGRID and other object store services.
  • AIQ & Cloud Insights: Obtain hands-on experience with NetApp's cloud and automation platforms.
  • ITIL Framework: Familiarize yourself with ITIL methodologies for incident, problem, and change management.
  • Scripting & Automation: Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Bash) and automation tools like Ansible.
  • Virtualization: Experience managing storage within virtualized infrastructures, such as VMware.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent customer-facing and communication skills for effective support and client interaction.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding and hands-on experience with advanced ONTAP features.
