Cloud Infrastructure Architect

The ideal candidate will lead AWS cloud infrastructure design, deployment, and scaling. This includes collaborating with engineering teams to manage and scale cloud infrastructure, owning deployment automation, and championing infrastructure-as-code practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, manage, and scale AWS cloud infrastructure.
  • Own deployment automation and promote infrastructure-as-code practices.
  • Manage Linux environments, including system administration, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
  • Configure and maintain DNS, load balancers, and system monitoring tools.
  • Improve system stability, security, and operational visibility.
  • Support CI/CD pipelines for reliable software delivery.
  • Recommend and implement best practices for cloud security and compliance.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of professional experience in DevOps roles.
  • Strong computer science fundamentals and proven programming ability.
  • Deep expertise in Linux administration (mandatory).
  • Proficiency in Bash scripting (mandatory); Ruby or Python scripting experience is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, etc.) or similar cloud platforms.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
  • Strong understanding of networking, DNS, and load balancing.
  • Knowledge of security best practices for cloud environments.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with data workflows or ETL pipelines.
  • Familiarity with JavaScript build systems.
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field (Masters/Ph.D. welcome).
