Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled professional with expertise in creating, optimizing, and maintaining automation scripts to enhance CAD workflows and productivity. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in CAD automation, integration with external data sources, and developing custom utilities tailored to project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Script Development: Develop, debug, and maintain AutoLISP, Visual LISP, and related AutoCAD customization scripts.
  • Automation Routines: Design and implement automation routines to improve drafting efficiency and accuracy.
  • CAD Standards: Create and maintain CAD standards through automated tools and scripts.
  • Integration: Integrate AutoCAD with external databases, APIs, and software applications.
  • Documentation: Document processes, workflows, and script functionalities for team use.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with design and engineering teams to identify automation opportunities.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical support and training to CAD users on custom tools.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Technical Expertise: Proficiency in AutoLISP, Visual LISP, and related AutoCAD customization languages.
  • Automation Experience: Ability to develop custom dialog boxes (DCL), menus, palettes, and toolbars.
  • Integration Knowledge: Experience integrating AutoCAD with Excel, CSV, or SQL databases.
  • Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and good communication skills.
