As a skilled Cybersecurity Specialist, you will be responsible for protecting our systems, networks, and data from internal and external threats. You will design and implement security solutions, monitor for vulnerabilities, and respond to incidents to ensure the highest levels of system integrity and data protection.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Implement Security Measures: Develop and maintain robust security tools and infrastructure to protect against cyber threats.
  • Monitor Systems and Networks: Regularly scan systems and networks for potential security breaches and investigate violations to prevent unauthorized access.
  • Perform Vulnerability Assessments: Conduct thorough risk analysis, penetration testing, and vulnerability assessments to identify and mitigate potential security risks.
  • Respond to Security Incidents: Lead incident response activities, including root cause analysis and remediation, to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity.
  • Ensure Compliance: Ensure all systems, applications, and network configurations comply with internal security policies and regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST).
  • Collaborate with IT Teams: Work closely with IT teams to implement security best practices and secure software development life cycle (SDLC).
  • Manage Security Tools: Effectively manage firewalls, antivirus, EDR, SIEM, DLP, and IDS/IPS tools to maintain a robust security posture.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Strong understanding of firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), VPNs, proxies, and endpoint protection.
  • Proficiency with security information and event management (SIEM) platforms and vulnerability scanners.
  • Experience with scripting or automation (e.g., Python, Bash).
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional certifications such as CEH, CISSP, CompTIA Security+.
  • Experience with cloud security in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
