Job Opportunity: Tester and Quality Assurance Specialist

Location: National (Remote Work)

We are seeking a meticulous individual to assume the role of a customer and thoroughly evaluate websites from beginning to end. You will follow a structured checklist, assess the ease of use, inspect payment options, and complete test transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Visit assigned websites and comprehend their purpose.
  • Follow a step-by-step procedure and document your findings.
  • Test critical user interactions (such as browsing products, adding items to cart, and checking out).
  • Identify and report issues like broken links, confusing content, or accessibility problems.
  • Verify payment methods (credit/debit cards, PayPal, Apple/Google Pay) and complete test purchases.
  • Confirm post-purchase details like order confirmation pages and email receipts.

Required Tools:

  • Web browsers: Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge (on desktop and mobile).
  • Screen capture tools: Loom, CleanShot, or similar.
  • Task management: Jira, Asana, Trello.
  • Documentation: Google Docs/Sheets, Notion.
  • Security tools: Password manager, VPN (if needed).

Success Metrics:

  • You complete all checklist items and test scenarios.
  • Your reports are clear, detailed, and easy to understand.
  • You accurately verify payment methods and complete test purchases.
  • You deliver results on time and communicate proactively.
