Our Organization is seeking an accomplished Cloud Architect to spearhead the management, maintenance and optimization of our cloud infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing secure and scalable cloud architecture using best practices. Additionally, they will provide expert-level support for cloud environments including EC2, VPC, S3, RDS, IAM, CloudTrail, CloudWatch, Lambda and more.

  • Design, implement, and maintain secure and scalable cloud infrastructure using industry-recognized best practices.
  • Provide high-level technical guidance for the design and implementation of cloud architecture and infrastructure.
  • Manage and optimize Amazon RDS instances, backup policies, multi-AZ deployments, read replicas, performance tuning and failover testing.
  • Lead or assist in the migration of workloads from on-premises environments to cloud using AWS Migration Hub, Application Migration Service (MGN), DMS or Snowball.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation or CDK.
  • Automate system provisioning, configuration management, and deployment processes using tools like Ansible, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD and others.
  • Monitor system performance, availability and security using tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, GuardDuty, Inspector and AWS Security Hub.
  • Collaborate with cloud teams to ensure compliance and enforce cloud security standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve critical infrastructure and application issues.
  • Participate in the design of disaster recovery (DR), high availability (HA) and backup solutions for both compute and database services.

Maintain accurate documentation of systems, configurations, runbooks and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
