We are seeking a seasoned Revenue Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in financial accounting, with expertise in revenue recognition and technical accounting.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Create high-quality workpapers and document processes to improve the effectiveness of revenue accounting functions.
  • Prepare and review revenue transactions to ensure accurate recording following US GAAP.
  • Perform monthly revenue accounting close responsibilities, including preparation of revenue schedules, GAAP revenue analysis, account reconciliations, roll forwards, journal entries, and preparation of the close package.
  • Conduct daily accounting and review of multi-year contracts to ensure appropriate revenue recognition.
  • Enhance and optimize revenue accounting processes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in public accounting, preferably with a focus on revenue recognition.
  • MBA Finance or Chartered Accountant or CPA or equivalent.
  • Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with NetSuite or similar ERP systems.
  • Technical revenue accounting guidance (ASC 606) and ability to apply it to real-world situations.
