Job Title: MEP Designer

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop accurate mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) layouts using Autodesk Revit.
  • Collaborate with architectural and structural teams for clash detection and coordination to ensure a seamless building design process.
  • Prepare comprehensive bills of quantities (BOQs) for MEP services aligned with design requirements.
  • Support the tendering and procurement processes by providing detailed technical documentation.
  • Revise and update models and drawings based on feedback from stakeholders and site conditions.
  • Conduct regular coordination meetings with vendors and consultants to maintain the integrity of the design intent during execution.
  • Perform quantity take-offs and support procurement processes by providing detailed schedules.
  • Visit construction sites as required to validate designs and conduct MEP inspections.
  • Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or diploma in mechanical, electrical, or related engineering fields.
  • 4–5 years of relevant experience with Revit MEP in commercial projects.
  • Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks for BIM coordination.
  • In-depth understanding of HVAC systems, electrical distribution, and plumbing systems.
  • Experience preparing BOQs and technical documentation for tendering purposes.
  • Excellent comprehension of local building services codes and industry standards.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced environments.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
