Project Manager

Job Title: Senior Project Manager

• Project Management. Responsible for project management, scheduling, planning, erection, and commissioning of the projects within stipulated timelines.
• Reporting and MIS. Responsible for monthly MIS reporting to the senior management about the engineering, design and project execution.
• Process Improvement. Will be working on process improvements, SOPs/Checklists, policies, developing team, optimising resources and other change initiatives.
• Scope Development. Developing project scope, Gantt chart, budget, safety plan involving all relevant stakeholders for delivery of distributed projects.
• Health and Safety. Detailed attention to adherence of health and safety protocols.
• Troubleshooting. Support team in troubleshooting of installation related issues
• BOM Submission. Ensure BOM submitted to Purchase team on time with utmost accuracy
• DGPD & ZFD Selection. Support to RMS team to resolve critical issues related to DGPD &ZFD selection and configuration for timely handing over to Asset Management team with proper documentation.
• Cost Optimisation. Optimising cost of the delivered projects by regular tracking of major costs.
• ERP Updates. Ensure 100 % of Projects WBS updates in ERP on regular basis.
• Design Support. Design and engineering support for distributed projects.
• Material Optimization. Optimizing design to ensure minimization of costs in terms of materials used.
• Design Validation. Ensure to validate designs, identify constraints, bottlenecks and provide corrective actions.
• Resource Allocation. Prioritising the projects and allocation of resources.
• Meetings and Coordination. Need based client meetings, vender meetings, site visits and coordination.
• Design Inputs. Taking enough inputs for Design and reduce number of iterations required.
• Team Development. Understanding the organisation requirements from engineering and project execution related requirements and building necessary skills and technical competency within team for successful accomplishment of assigned tasks
• Training. Provide technical and safety trainings to team
• Documentation. Maintaining proper documentation of all the projects in OneDrive and ERP.
• File Accessibility. Ensure files are easily accessible on Drive, Maintaining proper checklist/documentation.
• Standards Compliance. Adherence to the standards/guidelines issued by Electricity Boards, MNRE, IEC, IEEE, BIS etc.
• Design Innovation. Implementing with new ideas, design software to add value in Engineering design.
• Resource Planning. Identify resource requirements including design software to meet the design goals.

• Client Meetings. Coordination with sales team to understand client's requirements, need based meeting client to deliver committed projects
• Commercial Issues. Managing Commercial/SoW related issues with sales team proactively.
• Material Dispatch. Follow up and coordination with purchase team for timely dispatch the material to sites.
• Asset Management. Regular discussion with Asset Management team for smooth handover of projects as per guidelines and timely clearance of observations, if any.
• Site Related Issues. Support project team to resolve site/client related issues

• Vendor Empanelment. Empanel, develop and manage execution vendors for flawless execution of projects.
• Internal Team Development. To develop internal team to manage vendors
• ESG Compliance. Ensure ESG compliance by the vendors
• Quality Assurance. To build processes to ensure good quality of the delivered projects
• Vendor Training. To provide necessary safety training to the vendors for incident/accident free execution of projects

Experience level – 18-22 years
