Job Opportunity

We are seeking an Underwriting Expert to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in real estate underwriting and be able to analyze complex data to determine accurate rent, value, and initial bid price for single-family assets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze market comparables to determine accurate rent, value, and initial bid price for single-family assets
  • Underwrite each piece of property build including rent, capex, HOA, property taxes and asrepaired values with high accuracy
  • Participate in the acquisition of single-family homes by tracking the assets through various phases of the deal lifecycle
  • Understand market nuances and apply them in underwriting

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required. Specialty focus in Real Estate or Finance a plus
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in underwriting, brokerage, or other real estate related disciplines
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Top-ranked performer with a track record of success (academic, professional)
  • Strong verbal and written skills to communicate effectively with internal and external professionals
  • Candidate should be extremely detail-oriented and organized with a proven ability to work well in a high-intensity environment to complete tasks quickly and effectively
  • Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines while delivering a high-quality product under tight time constraints
  • Desire to work on a highly collaborative, fast-paced team
