Job Title: Teradata Developer

With 4+ years of experience, you will work on designing and developing solutions based on specifications received. You will collaborate with project teams to meet project expectations and propose technical solutions that adapt to business needs.

We are looking for an experienced Teradata developer who can implement best practices in coding and development culture. The ideal candidate should have good exposure in Teradata Development activities and a decent experience in developing Teradata SQL code based on requirements.

  • Design and develop solutions based on specifications received.
  • Collaborate with project teams to meet project expectations.
  • Propose technical solutions that adapt to business needs.
  • Implement best practices in coding and development culture.
  • Good exposure in Teradata Development activities.
  • Decent experience in developing Teradata SQL code based on requirements.
  • Experience in Teradata like BTEQ, Fast load, TPT, Macros and Procedures.
  • Must have experience in Data Modelling.
  • Automate tasks using Unix shell script or Windows or Python.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Participating in code reviews and providing feedback to other developers.
  • Troubleshooting and debugging on Database issues.

Core Skills Required:

Programming Languages: Proficiency in Shell scripting and Python

Databases: Teradata SQL, Teradata Stored Procedures, Snowflake, Data Modelling

Utilities: Teradata BTEQ, Fast load and TPT
