Senior DevOps Engineer for Application Security Solutions

HCL Software is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our Application Security team. We are looking for a highly skilled professional with expertise in cutting-edge automation and CI/CD tools.

We are part of the HCL Software group, leading the HCL Application Security portfolio. Our industry-leading Application Security testing, triage, and remediation products provide a variety of analysis techniques, enterprise application security management, and client-side tooling integrating into modern DevOps pipelines.

The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of substantial software DevOps experience with development experience/hands-on in source-controlled change-managed software projects. They should be proficient in Python, Shell scripting, automation, and command-line environments.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing efficient DevOps pipelines using Jenkins, Travis, Buildbot, Ansible, and similar tools
  • Developing and modernizing CI/CD pipelines to build and deploy complex software systems
  • Maintaining and optimizing existing infrastructure using containerization technologies like Docker, podman, Kubernetes, and OpenShift

Additionally, the successful candidate will have:

  • Experience with open-source technologies and proficiency in GitHub
  • Demonstrated communication skills in a team environment
  • A proven ability to learn new technologies quickly and apply them to solve complex problems
  • Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, virtual machines, Azure Database and storage technologies, Virtual Networks, Azure Site Recovery, Traffic Manager, Azure Automation, ARM Templates, Azure Load Balancer, API Gateway, and Azure AD

Salary: $150,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on location and experience. Benefits include health insurance, retirement plan, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
