Job Opportunity: Quality Assurance Specialist

About the Role:

  • We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Quality Assurance (QA) specialist to join our team.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience in software testing, quality assurance, and test automation.
  • Responsibilities include developing and executing test cases, scripts, plans, and procedures to support various development methodologies.
  • Execute test cases/scripts/scenarios on schedule (Functional, Systems Integration, and Regression Testing), and open defects as needed.
  • Design, build, and execute automated tests using programming languages such as Java or Python.
  • Identify regression testing needs and create and maintain an Automated Regression Suite.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to analyze end-to-end scenarios, gather requirements, and design test cases that need to be automated.
  • Maintain automated scripts utilizing existing frameworks, adhering to coding standards.
  • Knowledge & experience on Java or Python, Selenium, Appium, etc., is a must for performing automation of websites and apps on desktop/Mobile devices.
  • Detailed and effective written communication skills for documenting features tested and bugs found.
  • Follow Scrum process, participate in Scrum meetings.
  • A go-getter, detail-oriented, extremely responsive candidate who would like to take up technical challenges.
  • Self-motivated, works well independently and with others.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Automation skills are a must.
  • 2 years of hands-on experience in testing Cloud applications.
  • Familiarity with JIRA, GIT, SQL, and databases.
  • Knowledge & experience on Java or Python, Selenium, Appium, etc., is a must.
  • Knowledge of BDD framework or Cucumber framework.
  • Knowledge of API Testing tools such as SoapUI and Postman.
