Job Overview:

We seek an accomplished data engineering professional to spearhead impactful solutions in the healthcare and medical technology sphere.

  • Design and implement scalable data pipelines utilizing Databricks, Azure Data Factory, and ETL tools
  • Optimize workflows for efficient data ingestion, transformation, and delivery
  • Create and manage data models and schemas for analytics and reporting
  • Ensure the security and integrity of SQL Server databases
  • Handle diverse structured/unstructured datasets from various sources
  • Maintain alignment with HL7, FHIR, and HIPAA standards
  • Develop informative dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, Qliksense
  • Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to deliver actionable insights
  • Analyze large datasets using Python, SQL, Py Spark, and Spark SQL
  • Prepare data for machine learning pipelines and predictive modeling
  • Foster collaboration among data scientists, analysts, and domain experts
  • Provide guidance to junior engineers and promote best practices
Key Requirements:
  • 7+ years of experience in data engineering, preferably in healthcare or medical data environments
  • Strong hands-on expertise with: Databricks, Azure Data Factory, SQL Server, Python, SQL, Py Spark, Spark SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Qliksense
  • Familiarity with HL7, FHIR, and healthcare data privacy standards (HIPAA)
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of cross-functional teams
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills
