Financial Management Expert

This leadership position oversees all financial operations, including planning, budgeting, compliance, reporting, and internal controls. The role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to advise on strategies to optimize profitability and growth.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of financial management principles and be able to develop and implement effective financial strategies aligned with overall business objectives.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Financial Planning & Strategy:
      • Develop and implement the company's financial strategy, aligning with overall business objectives.
      • Analyse financial performance and advise on strategies to optimise profitability and growth.
    • Financial Operations & Control:
      • Oversee the day-to-day financial operations, including accounting, billing, payroll, accounts receivable/payable, and banking relationships.
      • Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with GAAP/IFRS and applicable local regulatory requirements.
    • Risk Management & Compliance:
      • Identify and assess financial risks, including currency exchange risk between India and US operations.
      • Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and guidelines in both countries.
    • Strategic Decision Support:
      • Serve as a key advisor to senior management on financial matters and business strategy.
      • Provide financial insights for critical business decisions.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education: Chartered Accountant (CA)
  • Experience: 10-15 years of experience in a similar role
  • Industry Knowledge: Good understanding of the IT and Pharma sectors
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills
