About the Role

As a Senior Business Analyst at Thomson Reuters, you will play a critical role in driving business requirements for product features based on stakeholder and customer input. This includes tax and accounting compliance items, user interface features, and operational processes.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of business requirements for product features, ensuring alignment with stakeholder and customer needs.
  • Act as a liaison between the engineering team and Product Management to deliver agreed-upon features.
  • Ensure implementation follows the design and directs modifications of the design, while ensuring system assurance methodology is followed.
  • Develop and improve business processes within the technology organization.
  • Participate in short- and long-term planning sessions with stakeholders to improve the customer experience and software development process.
  • Provide technical guidance to less experienced analysts on tasks.

About You

You're a fit for this role if your background includes:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounts or Finance.
  • Accounting/Tax experience or education.
  • 3+ years of experience in a business analyst or tax/accounting role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Agile learners – Ability to learn something new.
  • Experience in Tax Provision is preferable.
