We are seeking a skilled Backend Developer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing custom software applications with limited oversight.

  • The ideal candidate will have at least 6-8 years of professional experience in developing microservices and cloud native apps using Java, Spring Core, Spring Boot Framework, MVC, and WebFlux.
  • Strong knowledge of messaging frameworks such as Kafka and experience working with Unit testing using frameworks such as Junit, Mockito, and JBehave is required.
  • The ability to build and deploy services using Gradle, Maven, Jenkins, etc. as part of the CI/CD process is also necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Be part of a team of engineers in developing elegant and high-performing code.
  • Ensure quality practices – unit testing, code reviews / leading tests.
  • Optimize the application for non-functional requirements.
  • Build and deploy components as part of the CI/CD process.
  • Continuously monitors application health and KPIs (Key Performance Indicators), supports triage of any production issues as and when needed.
  • Collaborate in troubleshooting complex data, features, service, and platform issues and perform root cause analysis to proactively resolve product and operational issues.

Requirements

  • Mastery of Java, Spring Core, Spring Boot Framework, MVC, and WebFlux.
  • Experience with messaging frameworks like Kafka.
  • Strong knowledge of unit testing frameworks such as Junit, Mockito, and JBehave.
  • Ability to work with Gradle, Maven, Jenkins, etc. as part of the CI/CD process.
