Key Engineering Manager Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineering Manager to lead our engineering team in building and scaling complex products and integrations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical foundation, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to mentor and grow a team of engineers. They will be responsible for defining and maintaining technical direction, guiding engineers in building robust integrations, and overseeing cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of backend, frontend, and full-stack engineers.
  • Define and maintain technical direction for microservices-based systems and event-driven architecture.
  • Guide engineers in building robust integrations with third-party platforms and internal services.
  • Ensure best practices in API-driven development and system interoperability.
  • Oversee cloud infrastructure across AWS & GCP, leveraging key AWS services for distributed and scalable systems.
  • Manage data infrastructure with MongoDB and DynamoDB, ensuring efficient high-performance queries and resilience at scale.
  • Partner with Product and Business stakeholders to align technical strategy with business goals.
  • Implement processes for CI/CD, observability, incident management, and cost-optimized cloud operations.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 2+ years leading or managing engineering teams.
  • Strong technical foundation in Node.js (NestJS), ReactJS, and API design.
  • Hands-on experience building and scaling microservices architectures.
  • Familiarity with third-party integrations and e-commerce platforms such as Shopify Easyecom Clickpost or similar services.
  • Knowledge of working with MongoDB DynamoDB and distributed data systems.
  • Expertise with AWS and GCP cloud environments including container orchestration serverless and event-driven services.
  • Experience implementing engineering best practices in CI/CD observability monitoring and incident response.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to nurture talent improve processes and build a culture of excellence.
