Job Title: Senior Data Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced data engineer to lead our modern data platform development. This role is ideal for someone with strong technical expertise in ETL pipeline design, data modeling, and data infrastructure who thrives in a fast-paced engineering-driven environment.

You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining efficient scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and data flows, developing transformation models using dbt, and orchestrating pipelines via Airflow. Additionally, you will optimize large-scale processing jobs in Apache Spark, tune and manage relational and analytical databases PostgreSQL Snowflake, architect and maintain schemas using Star Schema 3NF and SCD2 methodologies, design and support lakehouse architectures and scalable storage solutions, implement and enforce data governance validation and quality control mechanisms, and maintain DevOps standards using CI/CD GitFlow and containerization tools like Docker and Ansible.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL and ETL/ELT design
  • Strong experience with dbt, Airflow, and Spark
  • Deep understanding of data modeling techniques including Star Schema, 3NF, and SCD2
  • Proven ability to optimize and tune PostgreSQL and Snowflake for performance
  • Familiarity with lakehouse architecture principles and tools
  • Solid experience in data governance validation frameworks and pipeline monitoring
  • Strong grasp of GitFlow CI/CD pipelines and containerization using Docker and Ansible
