Melrosia is a lifestyle brand with a strong presence in womenswear. We work across both boutique and high-street markets, blending artisanal craftsmanship with modern, versatile silhouettes.
We are looking for a Freelance Womenswear Designer to collaborate with us on a project basis to design womenswear collections based on mood boards and brand direction.
The ideal candidate will ensure designs balance commercial viability with originality and brand identity, focusing on prints, embroideries, and surface detailing within designs.
You will create detailed CADs, spec sheets, and tech packs that are fully production-ready, including accurate measurements, stitch details, trims, embroidery placements, and finishing notes.
Collaboration with our team ensures smooth sampling and development.
Requirements:- Minimum 4–5 years of experience in womenswear design for international markets (UK & USA).
- Background working with both boutique and high-street brands.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop or similar design software.
- Ability to create production-ready CADs & detailed tech packs.
- Understanding of fabrics, finishes, trims, and wash techniques.
- Familiarity with the sampling and development process.
- Skilled in print and embroidery development.
