Job Title: Information & Communications Technology Expert

We are seeking an experienced ICT professional to assume the role of eGovernance Project Specialist. This individual will possess a strong background in IT project planning, design, and implementation, as well as experience working with government agencies and multilateral institutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic and technical guidance for transport department automation initiatives.
  • Develop/review Request for Proposals (RFPs), Bill of Quantities (BoQs), functional specifications, and cost estimates.
  • Support vendor evaluation and onboarding in accordance with government guidelines.
  • Coordinate with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), IT vendors, and authorities for project execution.
  • Monitor Service Level Agreements (SLAs), Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and project performance metrics.
  • Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT), audits, and inspections to ensure quality compliance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's/B.Tech or Master's degree in Computer Applications (MCA).
  • At least 10 years of experience in the ICT domain, including 5+ years in e-Governance projects.
  • Desirable: Experience in e-Governance projects related to transportation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Business Intelligence (BI) tools and data analytics.
  • Familiarity with transport systems (ITMS/ITS, AIS-140, SARATHI, VAHAN, automated test tracks, ATS, etc.).
