Comprehensive Budget Management Specialist

Our organization seeks a seasoned budget management specialist to oversee the development and implementation of comprehensive project budgets. The successful candidate will lead high-level cost estimation, forecasting, and financial planning for all ongoing and upcoming projects.

  • Lead cross-functional teams in developing and reviewing project budgets, including financial planning, cost control, and variance analysis.
  • Prepare and oversee the master schedule to ensure accurate establishment and tracking of project baselines.
  • Monitor financial progress of projects, track expenditures, and analyze variance reports to optimize budget performance.
  • Implement systems for real-time budget monitoring, controls, and exception reporting to ensure proactive cost management.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers, engineering heads, purchase, and site teams for seamless financial coordination.
  • Develop and drive budgeting frameworks, tools, and best practices to improve accuracy, accountability, and cost control.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 12-15 years of experience in budget management, cost control, or financial planning within real estate, construction, or infrastructure sectors.
  • Strong experience in project budgeting, BOQ analysis, cost forecasting, and variance reporting.
  • Proficient in budgeting tools, ERP system, and project management software.
  • Exceptional analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex project budgets across multiple sites.

Education and Certifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering / Finance / Quantity Surveying; MBA or professional certifications.

The position requires frequent travel to project sites for budget reviews and audits.
