Job Title: Operations Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead key projects and manage the Accounts Payable Process to drive operational excellence.
  • Manage a team responsible for Accounts Payable Management, ensuring effective performance in assigned sub-processes.
  • Define business processes that efficiently work across locations, onboard, and train new team members.
  • Build metrics and measurements that drive operational efficiency.
  • Determine potential risks in deliverables and mitigate them or escalate where required.
  • Drive best practices through disciplined business process management and understand business goals.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for attracting, hiring, engaging, developing, and retaining the team for Accounts Payable Operations.
  • Represent the team as a Subject Matter Expert.
  • Liaise between Operations and Internal Teams to resolve queries efficiently.
  • Manage optimal work allocation and deliverables on time with optimal accuracy.
  • Work cross-functionally across business teams, product, and technology to meet business requirements.
  • Build effective reporting of the process.
  • Partner effectively with stakeholders and partners in the US team.
  • Establish right workflow, DTP management, compliance, staffing, quality, technology for smooth operations.
  • Establish, maintain, and communicate metrics and progress on all AP activities.
  • Institutionalize right metrics to drive Operational Excellence & Efficiency.
  • Establish well-defined processes that drive strong results.
  • Improve internal workflow and maintain optimization and build efficient process mechanisms.

Requirements:

  • Overall 9+ years of experience in P2P Process/Retail with a strong understanding of Accounts Payable practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with process improvements/system enhancements/automation related to accounting functions.
  • 2+ years of leadership experience is desired.
  • Education Qualification & Certifications (optional)
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Information Systems or other related field.
