Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Backend Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in distributed systems, microservices, and message buses.

The successful candidate will be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and develop high-quality backend modules. They will also contribute to the development of scalable and efficient systems using Python, Django, and PostgreSQL.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop critical backend modules that meet business requirements.
  • Collaborate with teams to ensure seamless functioning of backend systems.
  • Develop strong working knowledge of distributed systems and microservices.
  • Familiarity with High Availability, Resiliency, Geographic Redundancy, and similar concepts.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in software development, preferably with experience in distributed systems.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python.
  • Familiarity with web frameworks like Django and OpenAPI/Swagger.
  • Experience with database management systems like PostgreSQL and MySQL.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, and GCP.
  • Strong understanding of message buses, multi-threading, and thread synchronization.
