Job Title: Cybersecurity Expert

We are seeking a seasoned cybersecurity expert to spearhead our cybersecurity initiatives and safeguard our systems, infrastructure, and applications.

The ideal candidate will have 8 years of dedicated experience in uncovering vulnerabilities and navigating security operations with successful, proactive approaches.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conclude vulnerability lifecycle management with meticulousness, ensure cloud security posture is always under review, and orchestrate incident response with precision, maintaining our end-to-end protection strategy.
  • Leverage expertise in penetration testing to highlight potential weaknesses, solidify real-time monitoring, detection, and address incidents efficiently.
  • Drive forward cloud security projects by nurturing an atmosphere of compliance through Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) while keeping up-to-date on emerging threats.
  • Play a leading part in application security standards and frequent assessments, making sure development practices adhere to secure coding norms.
  • Act as a liaison between IT teams and business units to embed comprehensive security in every operational process.
  • Support rapid analysis and resolution of detected security events with experienced vigor.
  • Collaborate in vital information security risk assessments and strategies that proactively anticipate attacks.
  • Develop reliable tools to grow scalable solutions bolstering our resilience to threats and enhance them with ongoing insights into evolving attack methods.
  • Generate detailed reports on all findings, defining strategic suggestions for enhancements and remediation strategies based upon those discoveries.
  • Contribute actively in identifying and escalating security vulnerabilities before they become major issues.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 8 years of dedicated experience in uncovering vulnerabilities and navigating security operations with successful, proactive approaches.
  • Established track record of success in investigating cyber forensics, managing incident responses, and preventing breaches effectively.
  • Superior comprehension of diverse cybersecurity risks, threats, and APTs.
  • Hands-on mastery of infrastructure security principles and in-depth understanding of application security vulnerabilities.
  • Thorough knowledge of VM tools like Rapid7 and thoroughgoing awareness of log management techniques, syslog, cloud technologies, digital asset protection, and advanced security protocols.
  • Acquaintance with cutting-edge API security mechanisms would be beneficial in pursuing the top candidates.
  • Distinct analytical skills combined with robust critical thinking abilities allow swift threat identification and mitigation.
  • Prior certifications such as CISSP or CCSP could have substantial influence on securing the position; familiarity with Azure Security Engineer, Microsoft Cybersecurity, or AWS Certified Security certification adds competitive leverage.
