Job Description

Your Role in Our Team

As a Senior Project Engineer at Doka, you will be part of our MEAAP Design Center team, working closely with customers and sales organizations to provide innovative formwork solutions. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  1. Collaboration with Sales Teams

Work with sales teams to generate AutoCAD drawings for proposal stages, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with industry standards.

  1. Design and Engineering

Develop and finalize drawings for construction projects, focusing on safe, efficient, and cost-effective designs.

  1. Specifications and Calculations

Prepare detailed specifications and calculations for static quotes and deliveries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with contractual obligations.

  1. Material Lists and Shipments

Provide material lists for quotations to the Sales and Operations teams, facilitating efficient shipments to job sites.

  1. Staff Training and Development

Participate in staff training programs to ensure continuous training and knowledge sharing in areas such as calculations, formwork, product knowledge, and computer systems/software applications.

  1. Formwork Solutions and Customer Support

Support the Sales Team by identifying suitable formwork solutions that meet customer needs, balancing economic, safety, and regulatory requirements.

  1. Inventory Management and Compliance

Ensure that work is designed with available inventory and in compliance with contractual obligations, adhering to company standards and policies.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Civil Engineering or Equivalent Education

A degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field is essential for this position.

  • Design Engineering Experience

A minimum of 9 years of experience in design engineering, preferably within the formwork or associated industry.

  • Doka Formwork Systems Knowledge

Knowledge of Doka Formwork Systems is highly advantageous, but not mandatory.

  • Technical and Analytical Skills

Outstanding technical and analytical skills, with proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Inventor, and Microsoft Office.

  • Language and Communication Skills

Excellent proficiency in English, with strong communication skills to interact with multiple stakeholders, including clients.
