Job Overview:

The Engineering Manager role at a leading medical device company requires strategic leadership skills to drive product security initiatives and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. This position oversees the development, implementation, and monitoring of security solutions for cardiac medical devices and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of engineers and cybersecurity professionals dedicated to product security.
  • Execute a comprehensive Product Security strategy aligned with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional global teams to integrate security practices throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Oversee vulnerability identification and remediation, ensuring timely incident response.
  • Establish and maintain security standards, frameworks, and best practices for product development and deployment.
  • Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to inform security strategies.
  • Communicate complex security concepts to diverse stakeholders.


Basic Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 15+ years in engineering or cybersecurity roles.
  • Proven expertise in product security, particularly in highly regulated industries.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and risk management processes.


Desirable Qualifications:
  • CISSP or similar cybersecurity certifications.
  • Experience with IoT devices, embedded, mobile, cloud security, and data protection architectures.
