Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Sustenance Engineering professional to join our Pervasive Sensing Team at Emerson. As a key member of our global engineering team, you will be responsible for generating customer approval drawings, bill of material against customer orders through ERP and PLM activities interface for C Type ball valve products.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • To understand and review engineering technical requirements for C Type ball valves
  • To generate customer approval drawings in Autodesk Inventor 3D package
  • To create and maintain ERP bill of material data
  • To support product auditing process (PED & API) for C Type ball valves through calculations and readiness of required technical documents
  • To create and review 3D part & assembly models, 2D manufacturing drawings through Autodesk Inventor
  • To create manufacturing drawing including dimensional and geometrical tolerances
  • To establish relationships across functions, locations, and global teams to gain information and share with the team

You are a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual with a strong background in sustainable engineering. You have a proven track record of identifying and creating processes vital to getting work done, separating and combining tasks into efficient and simple workflows. You focus on continuous improvement and have a curiosity about identifying and seizing opportunities for synergy and integration.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Minimum 7 to 10 years' proven experience in sustainable engineering
  • Proficient in engineering CAD, preferably Autodesk Inventor, Solid Works, and PLM tools, preferably Windchill
  • Sound experience on ERP systems like Oracle, SAP, BaaN, Odoo
  • Experience with industrial design standards like ASME/ANSI, API, EN, and product auditing process like PED, API
  • Thoroughness in documentation and attention to detail
  • Good understanding of manufacturing processes, materials used in general mechanical industry, and dimensional/geometrical tolerances (GD&T)
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal, and effectively communicate with local, global, and cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

Bachelor's or equivalent degree in Mechanical Engineering

In addition to basic education, CAD tools like Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, and ERP system certification/experience will be preferred
