Data Integration Specialist

As a Data Integration Specialist at Virtusa, you will be responsible for planning, designing, developing, executing, and monitoring complex data integration activities to support project delivery and daily operations.

You will be an expert in defining, implementing, debugging, and optimizing data integration mappings and scripts from various data sources.

You will spearhead the development of ETL code, metadata definition, and models, queries, scripts, schedules, work processes, and maintenance procedures, and identify opportunities to optimize the sizing, performance, and efficiency of existing processes and procedures.

You will mentor less experienced analysts on proper standards and techniques to improve their accuracy and efficiency.

You will perform unit testing, system integration testing, regression testing, and assist with user acceptance testing.

You will articulate business requirements in a technical solution that can be designed and engineered.

You will consult with the business to develop documentation and communication materials to ensure accurate usage and interpretation of JLL data.

You will develop a technical understanding of how data flows from various source systems and source types to fine-tune data integration solutions.

You will work independently or as part of a team to deliver data warehouse ETL projects.

You will adhere to established standards and best practices and provide input for improvement of those processes.

You will be a self-motivated team player who can work with minimal supervision and adapt to a quickly changing environment.

You will maintain a high-volume data warehouse application.

You will have the ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously, switch between tasks, and work in conflicting priorities.

Requirements:

At least 3 to 8 years of relevant experience is desired.

A Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science/Information Systems from a reputable university is required.

Strong computer science fundamentals are necessary.

Strong communication skills with business stakeholders are required.

Excellent technical, analytical, and organizational skills are necessary.

Skills:

Informatica PowerCenter, Data Integration Hub, Power Exchange, Informatica Cloud, Data Quality, Master Data Management, Address Doctor

Windows PowerShell/UNIX Shell Scripting, Control-M to automate job runs.

MSSQL Server Database development.

Knowledge of Azure Databricks, Python, PySpark, Azure functions, Data Lake, Azure DevOps CI/CD, Azure Data Factory.

Mandatory skills: Informatica PowerCenter, SQL Server, Azure Data Bricks.
