API Integration Expert

We are seeking a skilled and experienced API integration expert to join our team. This role will focus on managing API integrations with new and existing partners, ensuring performance, reliability, and scalability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead end-to-end API integrations with new and existing partners.
  • Collaborate with internal IT and commercial teams to support integration processes.
  • Define, document, and communicate integration requirements clearly for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Maintain and enhance integration roadmaps for key clients and suppliers.
  • Monitor and assess integration performance, identifying areas for improvement and leading optimisation efforts.
  • Manage project timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communications using tools like ClickUp and Jira.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience delivering end-to-end API integrations, preferably in the travel technology sector.
  • Strong experience working with API-based systems and understanding of REST/JSON/XML protocols.
  • Solid grasp of project management principles and proficiency with tools such as Jira, ClickUp, Trello, or similar.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple simultaneous integrations and prioritise effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, with additional languages such as Spanish being a strong plus.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while staying highly organised and self-motivated.
