Job Title: Fico Blaze Developer

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced software developer to join our team as a FICO Blaze Developer. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing business rules, scorecards, and decision flows using FICO Blaze Advisor.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of decisioning systems, credit risk management, and loan origination platforms. They will also possess excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Maintain Business Rules: Create and maintain complex business rules, scorecards, and decision flows using FICO Blaze Advisor.
  • Collaborate with Risk and Business Teams: Work closely with risk and business teams to implement rule logic based on credit policies and compliance standards.
  • Integrate with External Systems: Integrate FICO Blaze Advisor with external systems via APIs, web services, or batch jobs.
  • Troubleshoot Production Issues: Troubleshoot production issues related to Blaze logic or integration failures.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Related Field: Possess a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field.
  • Software Development Experience: Have at least 2-5 years of hands-on experience in software development, with a strong focus on FICO Blaze Advisor.
  • Programming Languages: Be proficient in Java, J2EE, XML, and SOAP/REST APIs.
  • Decisioning Systems Knowledge: Have a good understanding of decisioning systems, credit risk management, or loan origination platforms.
