Job Description

Trekea is a dynamic company driven by innovation and employee skills. As an automation test engineer, you will participate in developing the company's growing software solutions. The position involves creating and maintaining test scripts using Selenium WebDriver and other related tools.

Your primary responsibilities as a Senior Automation Test Engineer include:

  • Preparing standard test scenarios with product management, development, and delivery teams.
  • Running tests on various application components and features to identify functional and technical issues.
  • Designing test scenarios for 100% requirement coverage and preparing and maintaining test cases.
  • Managing the overall testing process, including defect reporting and resolution.
  • Designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver and related tools/frameworks.
  • Developing and executing performance test scripts using tools like JMeter or Gatling to optimize system performance.
  • Creating and maintaining mobile automation test scripts using Appium for Android and iOS platforms.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather detailed test requirements and understand application functionality.
  • Executing automated test suites, analyzing results, identifying defects, and recommending improvements.
  • Enhancing and optimizing test automation frameworks, tools, and processes for scalability and efficiency.
  • Collaborating with DevOps teams to integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.

For Junior Automation Test Engineers, key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing standard test scenarios with product management, development, and delivery teams.
  • Executing tests on various components and features to help identify technical and functional issues.
  • Assisting in designing test scenarios for comprehensive coverage of requirements.
  • Executing test cases, logging defects, and contributing to managing the overall testing process.
  • Participating actively in Agile Scrum processes and supporting software development workflows.
  • Supporting the design, development, and maintenance of automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver and related tools/frameworks.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather test requirements and understand application functionality.
  • Executing automated test suites, analyzing results, and reporting defects or areas for improvement.
