Seeking Researchers in Chemistry to Push AI Boundaries

At our organization, we're advancing the capabilities of large language models (LLMs) through rigorous testing. As a PhD-level researcher in Chemistry, you'll play a pivotal role in creating and analyzing chemistry problems that challenge these models.

You'll design and develop complex chemistry problems, analyze model responses, and identify areas where improvements are needed. This process will not only enhance the understanding of AI but also contribute to the development of more advanced reasoning capabilities.

A coal gasifier operating at high temperature uses a feed of steam and air to produce synthesis gas from pure carbon. Given the feed composition and operating conditions, calculate the equilibrium concentration of a specific gas in the output stream at 1000 K.

Two elementary gas-phase reactions occur in a plug flow reactor with stoichiometric feed and known operating and coolant conditions. To excel in this position, you'll require strong research and analytical skills, as well as excellent written communication abilities, especially when working remotely.
