Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with data analysis, visualization and gathering techniques using Python.

The selected individual will be responsible for designing and implementing an organization-wide data collection system, analyzing complex datasets and creating actionable insights to drive quality improvements and optimize processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Analysis and Visualization: Design and implement data visualizations that effectively communicate insights to stakeholders, utilizing Python libraries such as Matplotlib and Seaborn.
  • Process Improvement: Collaborate with process improvement teams to identify areas of improvement and develop strategies to enhance product and process performance.
  • Opportunity Identification: Utilize advanced data mining and analysis techniques to identify opportunities to leverage company data and drive business growth.
  • Reporting: Develop and deliver regular reports to senior management, utilizing tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
Requirements:
  • 3rd or 4th year undergraduate student in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Proficient in data analysis, data visualization and data gathering techniques using Python.
  • Strong ability to write basic to advanced SQL queries.
  • Proficient in shell scripting and Linux.
  • Experience with REST APIs is a plus.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with a positive, can-do attitude.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, particularly in product development.
  • Understanding of various data structures and common data transformation methods.
