Lead Technical Specialist

This role requires a technical leader with in-depth knowledge of the Duck Creek Platform, agile scrum methodologies, change management capabilities, and effective communication skills.

  • Work collaboratively with business stakeholders to gather and validate requirements.
  • Partner with Enterprise Solution architects to design solutions that meet business needs.
  • Manage, motivate, and resolve technical issues within the team.

The ideal candidate should have:

  • A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in the Duck Creek Policy Admin System on PC, Commercial Specialty Insurance.
  • Strong working experience on DC Example Author - Server, CBO express, and Skins.
  • Ability to debug complex Duck Creek issues and provide solutions when the technical team is stuck.

The Lead Technical Specialist must work closely with architects, functional leads, Scrum Master, and PO as needed to resolve conflicts. They should also have a strong understanding of manuscripts, versioning, and configuration, as well as third-party integrations with Duck Creek like ISO, PitneyBowes, D B, etc.

The Technical Lead will be responsible for building and managing the team product envisioned by the Product Owner and other stakeholders. This includes working with Business and subject matter experts to gather and validate requirements, collaborating with Enterprise Solution architects in designing solutions, and managing, motivating, and resolving technical issues within the team.

Key Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or higher education level in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related engineering field.
  • AINS and DC Policy Admin System Certification is a plus.
  • Minimum of 6-8 years of professional experience preferably in a similar role.
  • Must have 7-9 years of experience in Duck Creek Policy Admin System.

Experience working in production support for Duck Creek applications and incident resolutions is highly desirable.
