Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Category Management Specialist to join our team.

The successful candidate will have strong knowledge of Category Management, providing actionable insights and demonstrating commercial acumen. They will be able to handle multiple projects and stakeholders, work independently, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

This role involves leading and executing Category Management activities in line with specified guidelines and business requirements. The key accountabilities include:

  • Developing and executing sourcing activities
  • Commercial ownership of all spends
  • Planning and executing portfolios of sourcing projects
  • Executing local category strategies and contract coverage
  • Applying Category Management & Purchasing processes
  • Developing effective relationships with internal business leaders and suppliers
  • Collecting requirements and analysing data inputs
  • Validating procedures for issuing and evaluating tenders
  • Leading commercial negotiations with Suppliers
  • Leading cross functional team members to ensure delivery against performance targets
  • Monitoring the portfolio of suppliers

The ideal candidate will have minimum 4 years of experience in Contract / Category / Buyer roles, with strong experience in developing commercial strategies, leading high value strategic negotiations and tactical negotiations, global procurement experience, advanced Excel skills, and a strong understanding of ERP Systems.
