Software Developer Lead

Deutsche Bank is seeking an experienced Software Developer Lead to join its Corporate Bank division. As a key member of our agile delivery team, you will be responsible for leading the development and support of applications using .Net technologies.


Job Description:

The successful candidate will have strong leadership skills and experience in managing cross-functional teams. You will be responsible for designing, developing, stabilizing, and enhancing distributed applications. Your expertise in technical architecture, database design, and programming languages such as .Net and SQL will be valuable assets in this role.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead developer with .Net, strong database skills - SQL, stored procs.
  2. Should be able to review code and help the team.
  3. Integrate with CI/CD pipeline, sonar scan and unit test coverage.
  4. Hands on experience with various technologies and should be able to lead the team on technical architecture.
  5. Collaborate with global stakeholders and business partners for application /product delivery.
  6. Experience of grooming and leading the team.
  7. Ability to bring in strong Engineering culture within the team with CI/CD, Sonar scans and one click deployments.
  8. Responsible for providing Level 3 production support, change management for the assigned applications. Need to be able to diagnose/triage/resolve production incidents. Need to work with vendor products within Bank and be able to design/develop/enhance applications/product.
  9. Responsible to help with hiring activities, talent management.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Hands on experience with technologies such as - .Net , SpringBoot, SQL , database tooling for conversions, Kafka.
  • Strong agile skills with running app Dev , Dev Ops , ITAO and RTB squads.
  • Expertise on build tools - Jenkins , GitHub , TeamCity.
  • Functional expertise working in a financial bank domain would be huge benefit.
  • Strong team player who also can work under pressure, independently and proactively while balancing competing priorities to achieve results on complex new development and integrations.
