Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Unified Communications Architect to join our team at Intellismith pvt Ltd. The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of Microsoft Teams/OCS/Lync 2010, Lync 2013, and Skype for Business Server, with a focus on Unified Messaging, CTI, and Media Gateways.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent experience with migration from legacy UC solutions, Office 365 Lync online, and deployment/configuration of Microsoft Unified Communication in multi-Forest and Resource Forest models.

About the Role
  • Design and implementation of Microsoft Teams/OCS/Lync 2010, Lync 2013, and Skype for Business Server infrastructure.
  • Migrate from legacy UC solutions to MS UC, ensuring seamless transition and minimal disruption.
  • Deploy and configure Microsoft Unified Communication in multi-Forest and Resource Forest models, ensuring scalability and reliability.
  • Integrate with Lync and video conferencing devices, PBX, and traditional voice networks (PSTN).
  • Analyze and diagnose high complexity networking problems, providing timely and effective solutions.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement unified communication strategies, aligning with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior team members.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying this knowledge to improve existing systems and processes.
Requirements
  • Excellent working experience on migration from legacy and third-party UC solutions like Lotus SameTime, OCS, Lync 2010.
  • Good working knowledge on Office 365 Lync online solution.
  • Deploying & Configuring Microsoft Unified Communication in multi-Forest & Resource Forest Model.
  • Gateway Configuration like Audio codes, Ericson, Ferrari, & Oracle Acme.
  • Knowledge on QoS for voice/video, IM, Desktop sharing networks (Traffic Engineering, RSVP).
  • Knowledge on Compliance solution (Actiance, Native Lync archiving).
  • Performs analysis and diagnosis of high complexity networking problems.
  • Good working knowledge on the DNS, DHCP, and DFS.
  • Good working knowledge on Branch voice survivability like (SBA, ESBC, SBC).
PREFERRED SKILLS
  • Good knowledge on Active Directory, Exchange messaging, Unified Messaging.
  • Good understanding of SQL DB.
  • Good understand of certificates and PKI.
  • Writing HLD/LLD, Migration Run Book, SOP, SOW, SCOPE Document.
  • Produce approach documents, white papers, track technology trends.
  • Predict industry direction and come up with new services in given technology area.
  • Writing & Responding to RFP/RFI also doing Industry Trend Analysis etc.
  • Good familiarity on overall enterprise IT infrastructure in different verticals.
  • Architect a solution on Unified communication infrastructure.
Salary: $90,000 - $120,000 per year
