**Cloud Architecture Position Overview**

The Cloud Solutions Director will lead the design and implementation of cloud solutions on Azure, focusing on infrastructure, platform services, and security.

  • Design and deploy end-to-end cloud architectures utilizing Azure services such as Compute, Storage, Networking, Security, and Kubernetes Service (AKS).
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable and efficient cloud solutions.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, ARM templates, and Azure DevOps to automate cloud infrastructure provisioning.
  • Lead cloud migration projects from on-premises environments or other cloud platforms to Azure, ensuring a smooth transition while optimizing for performance, cost, and security.
  • Design secure cloud architectures adhering to industry standards and regulatory requirements, including GDPR, HIPAA, and SOC 2.
  • Monitor, optimize, and ensure high availability and scalability of Azure-based solutions, addressing performance bottlenecks and cost optimization opportunities.
  • Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to implement cloud-based solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Provide technical leadership to junior architects, mentoring them in best practices, architecture patterns, and Azure technologies.
  • Stay current with Azure innovations and evaluate new Azure services to enhance existing solutions.

Key Skills:

  • Strong experience with Azure services, including Compute, Storage, Networking, and Security.
  • Proficient in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, such as Terraform and ARM templates.
  • Familiarity with cloud migration strategies and methodologies.
  • Ability to design and implement secure cloud architectures.
  • Strong understanding of industry standards and regulatory requirements, including GDPR, HIPAA, and SOC 2.
