Job Role: Cloud Operations Lead

We are seeking an experienced cloud professional to lead our cloud initiatives. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing cloud strategies that align with business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Proof of Concept (POC) and prototyping of Cloud solutions
  • Define Integration Design and Security Design for the Web Services and Enterprise component development
  • Work on networking and security topics as an AWS cloud administrator
  • Manage storage management like AWS-Storage
  • Work extensively on AWS-EKS, a container orchestration system for Kubernetes
  • Create and manage Docker images
  • Perform cloud cost analysis, estimations, and apply best practices
  • Manage Kubernetes (k8s) system services and worker nodes
  • Work with Database Administration and DBMS
  • Document designs and create technical documentation
  • Provide estimates for requirements
  • Engage with the senior architecture group, collaborate with internal technology teams, and contribute to internal initiatives
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes API and client libraries (Postgres, Redis, Prometheus, etc.)
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code concepts using Terraform

Requirements:

  • Minimum 7+ years of relevant experience with hands-on coding and ability to program independently
  • AWS Cloud certifications (AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional)
  • Strong Linux/UNIX experience
  • Hands-on experience in Terraform
  • Experience in AWS Cloud platforms across a wide range of services
  • Experience implementing AWS Cloud Security
  • Knowledge of Load Balancing, Auto-Scaling, and Route 53 for traffic management
  • Experience with Network Access Control List, VPC peering, AWS CloudWatch, AWS CloudTrail
  • Ability to design Highly Available and/or Fault-Tolerant Architectures
  • Experience working with open-source technologies and tools
  • Experience designing, developing, and deploying high-scale solutions in Kubernetes
  • Understanding of optimized coding for memory consumption, performance, scalability, security, caching, etc.
  • Experience working with stateless/stateful applications deployed on Kubernetes in production environments
