Quality Assurance Specialist Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive testing of software applications to ensure accuracy and reliability in processing complex data.
  • Develop and execute test plans across web applications, focusing on user experience, data accuracy, and workflow validation.
  • Collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, and domain experts to understand user workflows and identify critical testing scenarios.
  • Conduct specialized testing of AI/ML outputs, including validation of NLP results, LLM responses, and data processing accuracy across diverse datasets.
  • Work directly with stakeholders to gather feedback and ensure software meets real-world quality standards.
  • Help establish QA processes and documentation standards, contributing to our testing practices as we scale.
  • Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools while working collaboratively with the development team to resolve issues quickly.

Qualifications

  • Must have 3+ years of manual QA experience with software applications, including test case creation, execution, and defect management.
  • Strong experience in functional testing, user acceptance testing, and exploratory testing.
  • Familiarity with software technologies and ability to test applications built with modern frameworks.
  • Experience with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail, or similar).
  • Understanding of AI/ML concepts or strong willingness to learn, including how to validate model outputs and data processing results.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail—critical when working with complex data.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have Qualifications

  • Experience with automated testing frameworks or scripting for test automation.
  • Knowledge of API testing tools and basic understanding of REST endpoints.
  • Experience with Python or other programming languages.
  • Background in related fields with understanding of compliance requirements.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms and software application architecture.
  • Experience testing AI-powered products.
  • Knowledge of accessibility testing and compliance considerations.
  • Understanding of agile development methodologies and CI/CD processes.
