Job Title: Dev Tester with NodeJS

Vantage Point Consulting Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dev Tester with NodeJS to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute test plans and test cases for software applications.
  • Perform manual testing to ensure the functionality, reliability, and performance of software applications.
  • Develop and test APIs to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
  • Analyze and debug logs using Splunk to identify and resolve issues.
  • Collaborate with development teams to understand requirements and provide feedback.
  • Document and report bugs and issues, and track their resolution.
  • Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.
Qualifications:
  • 5-7 years of experience in software testing and development.
  • Strong experience with NodeJS and TypeScript development.
  • Proficient in API testing.
  • Hands-on experience with manual testing is a must.
  • Experience with Splunk for log analysis.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with SRE (Site Reliability Engineering) is a plus.
  • Experience in the Telecom/cable domain is a plus.
