Job Description:
Pinq Polka is a fast-scaling intimate lifestyle brand disrupting the women's wellness and intimate wear industry with innovative products. We seek a Financial Operations Specialist to strengthen our financial operations, ensure compliance, and support data-driven decision-making.
Role Overview:
We are looking for a Financial Operations Specialist with hands-on experience in end-to-end finance operations including receivables, payables, GST, statutory compliance, monthly MIS, and financial reporting. The candidate will play a pivotal role in maintaining financial discipline, preparing accurate statements, and supporting leadership with insights to drive growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage accounts receivables & payables, vendor payments, and reconciliations.
- Oversee day-to-day book-keeping and accounting entries.
- Monitor cash flows and working capital requirements.
Compliance & Taxation:
- Handle GST filing, TDS, and other statutory compliances on a timely basis.
- Ensure adherence to financial regulations and coordinate with auditors.
- Maintain proper documentation for tax and legal audits.
Financial Reporting & MIS:
- Prepare monthly MIS reports and financial dashboards for management review.
- Assist in preparing P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Internal Controls & Process Improvement:
- Implement and strengthen financial controls and accounting systems.
- Identify areas for efficiency improvement and cost optimization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial accuracy in operations.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Commerce, Finance, or CA/Inter CA/MBA (Finance).
- 4–5 years of finance experience in a similar role (preferably with startups, FMCG, or D2C brands).
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and statutory compliances.
- Proficiency in Excel, Tally/Zoho/QuickBooks, or other accounting software.
- Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
