This role involves building and nurturing strong relationships with teams and clients, with a focus on delivering exceptional results and exceeding client expectations.

  • Independently manage tax advisory engagements with minimal supervision.
  • Deliver high-quality tax opinions, short notes, and email responses to clients on a daily basis.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations by filing tax returns, withholding tax statements, advance tax, and other tax filings.
  • Manage tax assessments, litigation proceedings, and other income tax authorities.
  • Train and develop junior team members for their professional growth and development.
  • Promote tax technology assets through licensing and internal managed services.
  • Serve as a single point of contact (SPOC) for end-to-end tax operations engagements.
  • Effectively manage client codes from a time logging, invoicing, and collections perspective.
  • Identify new business opportunities and grow existing ones.
  • Collaborate with other tax services lines and business functions to meet multi-disciplinary client requirements.

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • CA - 4-7 years' experience in direct taxation.
  • Strong technical knowledge and analytical skills.
  • Conceptual clarity, attention to detail, and innovation thinking.
  • Time and cost management skills.
  • Leadership and teamwork abilities.
